Our Role in supporting Student survivors
It is the role of the SBA to advocate for students and to serve as a tool for students to advocate for themselves. We recognize that in cases of sexual violence or harassment, it can be incredibly challenging for students to do this while facing compound interpersonal, institutional, and intersectional pressures. To do our part in countering those pressures, we are using this space to gather resources for student survivors to learn about—and make informed decisions regarding—their options. The listings below include both legal and health resources, and provide local, regional, national, and affinity-based contacts.
For questions about your rights, or whether a member of the SBA can accompany you when seeking help, please visit https://www.sbacardozo.com/senate or https://www.sbacardozo.com/executive-board to reach out to individual members of the SBA or the Executive Board.
